ModuleX-2, ModuleX-4 or ModuleX-6?

The numbers describe the mounting support configuration. ModuleX-2 keeps the setup compact; ModuleX-4 adds throat support; ModuleX-6 adds support at the head and throat. Match the configuration to your machine and sport rather than assuming every option is available for every racquet.

ModuleX fits CybeX and Platinum 3.0. For badminton and squash, an X6 is used in the appropriate four-point configuration. Changing from X4 or X6 to X2 requires the correct head support; contact the team before ordering conversion parts.

Common setup questions

Which guide should I start with?

Choose CybeX or Platinum 3.0 above, then identify your ModuleX configuration. Set up the machine before moving to the full stringing video.

Can I use the same mounting setup for every sport?

Check the configuration and sport-specific equipment first. Badminton and squash use the appropriate two- or four-point configuration; an X6 can be configured as X4. Badminton also requires suitable badminton clamps.

What should I check before my first restring?

Find the racquet manufacturer’s stringing pattern, approved tie-off holes and tension range. Keep the model-specific setup guide available and record the string and reference tension you choose.

Where can I learn about strings and tension?

Browse the tennis strings guide and the string tension guide. Use them to plan one controlled setup change at a time.

ModuleX-2, 4 or 6: what’s the difference?

Choose the frame support that suits your setup. The mounting system is separate from the tensioning machine: select only a configuration offered for your product and sport.

Start with the support you need. The modular system allows compatible cross bars and supports to be added later. Changing from X4 or X6 to X2 requires the correct head support. Contact the team to confirm conversion parts.

  • ModuleX-2

The lightest setup to travel with.

  • ModuleX-4

Extra throat support for a steadier frame.

  • ModuleX-6

    Additional head and throat support.
